May Highlights

It has been a very busy month here at the Evans' house. Here are the highlights...

      Brooklyn's all registered for Kindergarten!

 

Brooklyn's last spring sing at her preschool. She looked so beautiful and sang her little heart out.

Brooklyn was invited to her first "friend" birthday party.  It was pajama themed so she wore her favorite pajamas and brought her bunny named "Carrots."

Kids had their bi-annual dentist check up.  They were very excited to come home with new toothbrushs, toothpaste and timers.  We were excited both girls had healthy progress reports and no cavities!

Isla injured her wrist when she tripped while carrying a glass jar.  The cut was deep enough to warrant a trip to urgent care but thankfully didn't need stitches.  The doctor said if she was older he would have stitched her, but he wanted to save her the pain of the numbing injections so he decided to steri strip it and wrap it.  It took about 10 days to heal.  She has a nice scar now on her wrist.    

We took off Brooklyn's training wheels and are trying to teach her to ride on two wheels.  She's made some progress but isn't quite ready to go completely on her own. 

Brooklyn had her last day of preschool last Thursday.  Summer has officially started!   We bought a zebra swimming pool this year and as we were blowing it up Isla said,  "This is the best day in my whole life." The girls have played with it non stop.  Even on cooler days, they still want to set it up.  I say best $12 ever spent.
