Florida

In the midst of holidays and birthdays, Scott and I had the rare opportunity to escape to Florida for my best friend's wedding!  Kid free!  Mema and Mepa came to stay with the girls for our long weekend getaway.  We had an amazing time catching up with old friends, enjoying the beach, the sun and did I mention it was kid free!!! Wahoooo!!!!

 Kristina's bridal shower was at the Biltmore Hotel in Miami.  It was a lot of fun having an all girls High Tea shower.  Kristina took this picture of me in front of the hotel's swimming pool.  It was seriously twice the square footage of my house.  Amazing.

The rehearsal dinner was the following day at the groom's parents house on Miami Beach.  We watched the sunset and enjoyed a wonderful Mediterranean dinner.  Then came wedding day... and my dahhhlling Kristina looked absolutely beautiful...

All good things must come to an end.  We were sad to leave our friends but happy to come home to see our girls.  It's funny how you can't wait to get a break from your kids, then less than a day later you miss them like crazy!
